A little, soft toy horse travels across the sea from the Far East to a large city in the heart of Europe.

The journey is long and full of unusual encounters. The little blue toy horse hopes that, at the end of it, he will find someone to love him and become his friend. Is it going to happen? The Greatest Wish, written by the award-winning author and speech therapist Ester Stará, and illustrated by the leading Slovak artist Daniela Olejníková, was created in cooperation with the nongovernmental organization People in Need (Člověk v tísni) with the deliberate intention of introducing to children selected global issues and to stimulate discussion about the world as it is today.
