Aksana Rashetska

My name is Aksana Rashetska, and I am a professional illustrator, primarily of children’s books, but I also enjoy drawing for adults. I am originally from Belarus where I completed my education at an art school in Minsk. I wanted to advance my artistic skills, so I decided to come to the Czech Republic to gain experience from excellent Czech illustrators and artists. I completed my bachelor’s and master’s studies at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (ZČU FDULS).

For the past few years, I have been dedicated to creating children’s books, and I am interested in participating in exciting educational projects for children and youth. I find meaning in it, and it inspires me greatly when I see smiles on children’s faces as they explore the books I have illustrated.

I mostly draw using a graphic tablet, but I also like adding manually-drawn textures to modern illustrations. Additionally, I enjoy working with POP UP and creating 3D worlds.
