David Böhm

Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, Prague (studios of Vladimír Skrepl and Vladimír Kokolia). Has mounted many solo and joint exhibitions and worked on a number of books, earning numerous awards (notably Magnesia Litera and Most Beautiful Czech Book of the Year awards for the The Head in the Head, a Golden Ribbon for Artistic Achievement for the book The Silence of the Hippo). Together with Jiří Franta, David Böhm has been shortlisted for the Jindřich Chalupecký Prize three times.
