Eva Chupíková

Eva Chupíková (1974), author and illustrator, studied Philosophy and English Language and Literature. In her work as an author she focuses mainly on bringing history and culture alive for children. She has been nominated several times for the Czech IBBY Golden Ribbon Award. Her latest book Slohovník aneb Praha má styl (Prague´s Got Style)  has been included in the Best books for children 2016/2017 Czech IBBY catalogue. She is also an author of the series S pastelkami po… in which she presents to children over 50 well known Czech historical monuments. Eva Chupíková lives and works in Olomouc.
