Ilona Komárková

Ilona Komárková studied at the Applied Arts Secondary School in Prague. She worked at Divadlo Minor theatre, for a book publisher and in a graphics studio. She is a free-lance artist at the moment with a primary focus on illustrations. She has a wonderful husband and four sons. She educated her children at home, which was a true education for her as well, and which had a great influence on her further professional direction. Primarily thanks to her children, she found herself even deeper in the world of illustrated stories. She loves books (pictorial ones in particular) and finds great joy from the chance to accompany them with illustrations.
