Jakub Bachorík

Jakub Bachorík is from Prostějov. He is a graduate of the Illustration and Graphics Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He illustrates books, contributes to magazines and sometimes comics, and provides drawings for anything from theatre posters, through children’s books and literature for adults, to his own books. He is passionate about science fiction, motorsport, bizarre narratives and mysterious worlds. His most recent visit to the realm of obscure realities was for his Master’s thesis entitled NE-U-VĚ-ŘI-TEL-NÁ fantasmagorie [UN-BE-LIEV-ABLE Phantasmagoria], in which he explored the world of conspiracy theories. And when he’s not exploring strange worlds, he relaxes with music or on the slopes on a snowboard.
