Kateřina Coufalová

Kateřina Coufalová studied illustration in Brno and animation in Ostrava. While still at university and setting out as a freelance illustrator and animator, she began to work with the National Museum in Prague on animations for a permanent exhibition in palaeontology. She has illustrated several books and calendars. Products made to her design include silk scarves, postcards and a children’s matching game. Her favourite subjects are animals. She likes to work with watercolours and crayons in making detailed scientific drawings but also stylized illustrations for children.
