Hi, I’m Lida Larina! I’m an illustrator and artist from Moscow, Russia. I graduated from Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry in 2015 and received speciality graphic artist, illustrator. After that, I studied illustration at the British Higher School of Art & Design for about a year and a half.
I draw illustrations for children’s books, magazines, web blogs and cartoons. Inspired by nature, animals, the sound of the trees and the smell of books. 🙂
My very first completely original project was „Kolya“. A graphic story about a weird man living in a panel building in Russia. It’s published in Russian and French publishing houses.
The second big project was “The anatomy of animals” cards. More than 50 animals and a whole year of work. As I mentioned I just love the animal world and all about it.
Now, along with illustration, I’m studying animation and making my own animated short film.
I’m glad to be a part of Albatros Media team and make good and interesting books for young readers!
