Martin Hanschild

Martin Hanschild was born in Gelnica, a small town in eastern Slovakia.
He studied art education at the Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences of the University of Prešov.
For several years he worked as an art director and character designer in television and advertising production, where he was involved in the creation of various animated projects.
Currently he is a freelance illustrator of children’s books, contributes illustrations to children’s magazines and works on art designs for computer games and animated films.
He does not have a distinct artistic style as he likes to experiment.
His joys are his family, games and science fiction in any form.
He has been living and working in Kladno for a few years now.
