Barbora Klárová

Some know her as a jazz singer, others as a violinist. They may also know her voice from radio and TV advertising, unaware of the fact that it was voted Most Pleasant Voice in the Lady Radio 2000 competition. She also appears in the role of MC at congresses, conferences, and company and cultural events. But BáraKlára must forget all this when she sits down to a blank sheet of paper and starts writing – scenes for the ČT:D children’s TV channel, for instance. She appears here because of her authorship of Překlep a Škraloup [Typo and Skim], a story about entropic elves. Having won the prestigious Magnesia Litera and Zlatá stuha prizes for this book, she feels inspired to develop this area of her work.
