Eva Bártová

Eva Bártová has enjoyed fairy tales, legends and Bible stories since she was small. Her liking for her country’s language and literature was established at school thanks to an accomplished, passionate teacher of Czech, and it persists to the present day. Having graduated in Czech Studies and Social Sciences from the university in Olomouc, she went on to teach Czech to children at primary school. She now works as an editor, her area of responsibility crime fiction and the historical novel. She is currently on parental leave. Although she has become something of a chronicler, she remains close to children’s literature. She dreams of writing and illustrating a story for children.
