Eva Obůrková

EVA OBŮRKOVÁ (b. 1967, Prague) is the author of many books on travel for children and adults, guides, catalogues and prospectuses.

Education: Na Pražačce grammar school (Art History and Art Education specialization); Institute of Journalism, Charles University, Prague (Printing and Advertising)

Work experience: with various magazines and newspapers (eg. Sedmička, MF Dnes); since 1991 freelance journalist, copywriter, writer, illustrator, and expert on domestic tourism and wine tourism

Private life: wife, mother, girl Friday, clown, black sheep of the family and lover of many pastimes and amusements, including cats, dogs, patchwork, sweet wines, chocolate, travel, searching for interesting connections, giving advice on where to go and how to get there (particularly with kids in Czechia, but also without them and elsewhere)
