Pavla Hanáčková

Pavla Hanáčková (1990-2021), born in the Czech Republic. She came from a picturesque Moravian village surrounded by vineyards. She was an avid reader since early childhood, and she had always longed to write. She was a graduate in English and Chinese from the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University, Olomouc. Fate had determined that she made regular returns to her native tongue, as a literary editor of children’s books for Albatros publishers. A keen traveller, she drew inspiration wherever she went, not least to feed another of her passions – food and everything associated with it.
