Romana Košutková comes from Moravian Slovakia, a vivacious cultural region of southern Moravia (Czech Republic) in which folklore and folk art are very much alive. From a young age she has liked flowers (especially roses), embroidery, and anything to do with woven fabrics. Having studied Art at a Brno university, she founded the Children’s Studio at the Gallery of Fine Arts in Hodonín. Her work and splendid materials for teaching art to children are known throughout the Czech Republic. She likes to work with young illustrators and designers.
